Black Left Pinky

Black Left Pinky was a three-piece punk outfit from central Illinois.  Raised on a steady diet of Ramones, Black Flag and The Misfits, along with more contemporary influences like Nirvana, Hickey and Frantics.

From 1999 to 2002, the band shared billing with The Mushuganas, Kid Dynamite, The Vice Dolls, Motion City Soundtrack, Pelican, The Red Hot Valentines and more.  After returning from a brief tour of the East Coast and Southern U.S., the members of Black Left Pinky began recording their first full-length album...but decided it would be WAY more punk to break up instead.

Black Left Pinky left behind a demo tape, two split 7" records, three EPs, a pair of singles, a couple of live albums, a few contributions to tributes and compilations, a cover of the Misfits' "Die Die My Darling" 12-inch and no mourners.
