One of the most popular and highest selling tREND iS dEAD! records is celebrating its 10th ANNIVERSARY!

Youth Gone Mad featuring Dee Dee Ramone was released a decade ago, at the end of 2002.  Originally issued on limited edition picture vinyl LP with artwork by Dee Dee and Paul Kostabi (Youth Gone Mad frontman and world renowned painter), most copies of the record were sold before it was even finished being pressed.  The album was digitally remastered and re-released on CD a few months later.

Paul Harvey-ish anecdote:  and that skateboarding youth pictured on the album cover grew up to be...Richie Follin, guitarist/singer/songwriter from The Willowz and Guards.

Youth Gone Mad have since released two more full lengths and a handful of 7" records;  the original lineup of the band reunited in 2011 for the album Numbers and a series of concert performances.

Paul Kostabi has continued his career as a successful visual artist and opened his own Thunderdome Studios, where he has recorded the likes of Cults, BP Fallon, Urban Waste, Sylvain Sylvain, Holly Beth Vincent and more.

In honor of its tenth birthday, Youth Gone Mad featuring Dee Dee Ramone CDs will be on sale for only five bucks! (sale ended 12/31/2013)

YOUTH GONE MAD
West / East

Youth Gone Mad relocated from California to New York, and you get to make the journey with them on this bi-coastal disc.  Nine tracks from the West Coast crew kickin' it Cali-style, including "Mixed Signals" and "In My Mind," plus guest Joel Hova (Our Band Sucks).  Another lineup operating on the East Coast (Youth Gone Mad NY™) supplied eight songs with definite New York flavor...a couple of renditions you may recognize.

Oddball punk, originally an import-only release from Germany.  Ēnā (White Zombie/Psychotica), Sage (Gloo Girls), Buz and friends bust the insanity on fourteen tunes that sometimes venture into alternative rock territory, with some bluesy vibes here, some straight-up pop over there, and a stooged-out version of a Fats Domino song somewhere in-between.

YOUTH GONE MAD FEATURING DEE DEE RAMONE
Youth Gone Mad featuring Dee Dee Ramone

Punk pioneers team up for this 15 song affair.  Dee Dee Ramone and Youth Gone Mad main man Paul Kostabi (former White Zombie/Psychotica) got together to do some art gallery paintings and ended up making an album.  Contains classic punk rock tunes like you'd expect from the Ramones songwriter, plus some old school hardcore served Youth Gone Mad-style, bursts of off-the-wall weirdness and a couple of cover songs.

Dee Dee Ramone passed away before the record was released, so Fenton Lawless penned a punk eulogy ("Dee Dee Deceased") in his honor.  Also featuring appearances by Barbara Zampini (The Ramainz) and Tony Mann (drummer for GG Allin/She-Wolves).  This album includes Dee Dee's last studio recordings, as well as some of Paul & Dee Dee's artwork.
