Youth Gone Mad

Youth Gone Mad started in 1980 as part of the California hardcore punk scene.  The band signed to Posh Boy Records, played shows with the likes of Black Flag and Fear, and scored a local radio hit with the song "Oki Dogs."
Over the years, the revolving roster of Youth Gone Mad has included Dee Dee Ramone and Joey Ramone (did you really need to see "ex-Ramones" in parentheses?), Sayoko (Pink Mushroom), and future Cults singer, Madeline Folin.
Youth Gone Mad's one constant and driving force all these decades has been Paul "Ena" Kostabi, also a founding member of White Zombie, Psychotica, Hammerbrain and Damn Kids (his guitar work on the first White Zombie EP was cited by Nirvana's Kurt Cobain).  Paul currently runs Thunderdome Recording Studios, where he has produced Guards, Sonny Vincent, Holly Beth Vincent (no relation), Cults, Walter Schreifels, Metalleg/Dirty Fences and dozens more!  On top of all that, Kostabi is a well-respected artist whose work is part of the permanent collection at the Guggenheim Museum.

2011 saw the reunion of the original Youth Gone Mad lineup and the release of their seventh studio album, Numbers.
