The not-nearly-as-long-awaited follow-up to the punk /vs/ metal tribute CD that took too long the first time. Round two sees Ringwurm riding high again with a screaming salute to Thor. The Loudmouths still rule. The award for "Motley Crüe song you never thought you'd hear a cover of" goes to Reina Aveja. The Migraines started the party with a Metallica interpretation that veers into Ramones territory before turning in a humorous, but still heavy, performance.
My personal favorite this time was probably the Dr. Dre Del bonus tracks - simultaneously everything and nothing to do with punk or metal - comedy rap with rock samples by Dr. Dre Del (a.k.a Aesop from Hickey and FuckBoyz) and D.J. Queenie (a.k.a. Matty Luv). Matty mailed me the tape that these two songs are from, and the whole thing is thoroughly entertaining.
