The Marked Men are a top-notch garage/punk group from Texas, formed from of the ashes of The Reds and The Oddfellows. Members of Marked Men have spawned other cool underground acts such as Lost Balloons, Radioactivity, Mind Spiders, The Novice, Potential Johns, Shang-A-Lang, Low Culture, High Tension Wires and too many more to keep track of. They've also produced some pretty rad records by The Hex Dispensers, Drakülas and Chinese Telephones. For such a prolific group, there's nothing disappointing in their catalog. A bold claim, but one backed up by this collection of Marked Men 7-inch records and compilation/unreleased tracks - every song just as good or better than anything on their proper albums.
