This is the first release from Checkmate Records, a new label owned by Hunter from The Force and AFI. Both of those bands offer their services here - AFI with a non-album track AND a wacky secret song (it's nice to hear AFI still able to laugh underneath all that mascara). A short but supersweet introductory blast by Kid Dynamite and an exclusive track from the Frantics should be the only other things you need to hear before you snatch this right up...but, just for good measure, this comp also includes unreleased or rare tracks by Good Riddance, Electric Summer, Kill Your Idols, At The Drive In, The Gain, Cigar, The Criminals and F-Minus.
